Here is Aurora’s newest felt friend, tiny panda. I whip(stitch)ed him together while watching TV…He is from The Cute Book by Aranzi Aronzo . I have two of their books and they ARE cute and so fun! Right now I am sewing them FOR Aurora, but I think we will try making a bigger one and she could help me. Anyway, I am totally obsessed with felt right now and have been spending many an evening watching TV and doing some felty project.

Aurora wants to know where the rest of her “pandy family” is…*sigh*

This started out as a single hedgie made from a needle felting kit I purchased on Etsy. Well, of course, Aurora says that I need to make more…first there is the mama, then the papa, then the big sister, then the baby…and just when I thought I was finished, she pressed me to make, “the mama’s mama”, LOL! They have taken over the bed I originally made for the tiny puppies she gets from the grocery store…

This little crabby friend is not crabby at all! It is felty and stuffed. I used some shanked buttons for the eyes, which gives them a nice depth I think…the shell is a perfect prop of course!
