now that all this Girl Scout cookie madness is over, I can get back to some sewing. I’m challenging myself to do MORE sewing (which, at this point would actually be SOME sewing) and finish some UFOs.
First on the list is this kawaii robot hoodie. I actually need to make two, one for me and one for Jonah. Of course we will wear them to Spring Market, heehee. She chose a yellow zipper and mine is red.

How did I possibly manage to produce this adorable hoodie? Well, it was actually pretty easy…

I did make a change to the pocket. This one I specifically put on for my phone or music player. I’m telling myself I will go walking or something but, uh…anyway…the pattern was super easy to follow, you could easily make this in a day, beginners maybe take two. The zipper was easy too, I think because it’s a separating zipper. The instructions also call for something in the casing of the hood. I do have both red and orange twill tape…guess I’ll have to put some of that in. I’m also thinking of reopening the sleeve hem and adding a bit of elastic…well, I’m sure many of you have the same problem, right? Just a little something here and…lol!!!

LOVE the fabric–what a great choice for the hoodie! I can hear your girls now: “Yeah… my mom’s the one in the cool hoodie. She’s pretty awesome.”
