Oh yes, see, that is such adorable new fabric from our dear friend Patty Young. I think this is my favorite line of hers so far, this honeycomb pattern with the bees is so unique, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it! My other favorite pattern from the line is the Hummingbird pattern (not shown here, but available in the shop, of course).
If you have the winter blues, these bright colors and fun patterns are sure to chase them away!
Now…about the purselette…that’s sort of a different story, hahaha! Some of you might glance and not notice, but I assure you, it’s definitely WONKY. It’s my own fault, totally…thinking I could substitute a shorter zipper, because that’s all I had and look, it’s just the right color…yeah, ummmmm. So I’m going to try THAT pattern again. Ziva has already claimed it as hers, I suppose I should be happy someone isn’t so critical of me, lol!
Fun? Oh, you want some fun too? OK, how about a GIVEAWAY? I have a cute modkid tape measure, Lil Chef pattern and 2 Half Yard cuts of Flora and Fauna for ONE lucky winner! Just check out the new Flora and Fauna fabric HERE, then comment on the blog which are your favorite and what you think you will make with them. Winner will be announced next Wednesday.

I love Humming Birds in Turquoise. I’m a sucker for birds and for turquoise. The bright red doesn’t hurt either. Wouldn’t it make a pretty skirt or dress? I need some of that print for sure!

The turquoise hummingbirds are to die for!! I would make something for me — either a skirt or a bag.

I’ve already bought a few yards of various prints, but my favorite (of the moment) is the Daidy dot in lime. This I would use in a dress for my granddaughter! I agree that the turquiose hummingbird is beautiful-that’s one of the first I bought

I love the bees! Actually they would *all* make really lovely summer dresses (summer on this side of the world at the moment) for my daughters.

My favorite is the Humming Birds. I am currently working on some new bags and wristlets, so these would be great for the new line.

As many have already mentioned, I LOVE the hummingbirds and I like the Dandelion coordinate..the fuschia/burgundy color is beautiful in person!

I’m a sucker for lime green, so any of those with that bright green, would be really pretty to use as throw pillows!

I love the bees ad the large florals. I have lots of ideas and can’t wait to get some of Patty’s fabric. Camera bags, camera straps, bags….possibilities are endless!

The bees and the humming birds are my favorite. I could certainly sew up a beautiful purse with the humming birds!

The hummingbirds with the fucia dandilions would make awesome pillowcases, or I would use them to accesorize my kitchen, valance, potholders, placemats, etc. I Love them!

I think I’m too late, but just thought I’d throw in that I LOVE the dandelion print. LOVE it. I think it would definitely be used as part of a dress for one/both of my girls.
