I know, that sounds so bad, right? But it’s not what you think. We showered her with all kinds of piggie themed items, as well as a new stocking made from kawaii piggies fabric…I actually didn’t know how to wrap all the fun little goodies, so a stocking was easier, lol! I know the stocking would have been enough for her, but I also made the Petunia Pig from a Melly & Me pattern (sorry, I don’t have any in stock right now :(). She opened it and I swear she just started crying! A little embaressed here, but I know she was so happy and loves it so much!

For my Petunia, I chose Heather Bailey Bijoux Ivory Swirly Buds for the head, feet and arms…Sandi Henderson Farmer’s Market Stripey Spring for the skirt…European Import poplin Ditzy Flowers on White for the body and sleeves…European Import poplin Haute Hearts for the leggings. Pink wool felt for the nose, buttons for the eyes and a bit of stretch lacey elastic for the ruffle.
BTW-my mom is wearing the most adorable little flying pig earrings I got her from etsy seller alliteration.

It turned out to be so adorable. No wonder she shed some tears.

Wow, that’s SO cute! I love the fabric you picked for it. I’m sure she’ll treasure it forever! ^.^
